While I hope you're stuck at home like we are, for the health and safety of everyone everywhere, I'd like to take you back to a time, not so long ago, when people gathered for live performances.

In January, a musical version of Mountain & Maiden, that I produced and directed with Anton von Heiseler, premiered at the Ultraschall festival in Berlin. The film follows a 10-year-old girl named Aaspiya who lives in New Delhi, India near Asias third biggest landfill that she picks through daily to provide sustenance for her family.

It was accompanied by a live performance by Christoph Grund of an original score by contemporary composer Sarah Nemtsov.

You'll need a quiet room and maybe headphones to watch.

While future performances are in the works (and on hold for now for obvious reasons), the soundtrack airs from time to time on the radio throughout Germany (and online here).

Let me know what you think. I will post soon behind the scenes footage and photographs since we are going soon into the festival circus and go public with this timely project.
