A pre-Open House film is the first film in the fall marketing funnel to help get more prospectives in the door at the Open House. This is a crucial step in the recruiting process because whoever shows up at the Open House represents your overall applicant pool. The field is narrowed from then on in, so getting people in the door in the first place is super important.
While most clients traditionally ask us for Open House promo films, more and more, they recognize the importance of using film teasers in their marketing leading up to recruitment events in addition to a full promo film at the events.
Yeshiva Ohavei Torah is the Harvard of yeshivos, with intense learning paired with high-end academics in a warm yet rigorous environment. Because most of their students come from all over the greater tri-state area, they hold open houses in 4 different locations in order to meet their prospective students and families where they are, and to make the Open House convenient for them. Their first Open House for this year is this coming motzei Shabbos in Passaic, NJ.
The goal of this film is to get families interested in finding out more. How? By giving them a picture of their sons' potential 5, 10, or 20 years in the future, and showing them that the first step to getting there is attending the Open House and applying for Ohavei.
