I hope things are going well.
While you may be familiar with the standard Open House films that schools and universities show at their recruitment events, more and more, clients are coming to us earlier in the process and requesting not only a promo film to show at the event that will get the crowd to want to sign up for their school… but a PRE-Open House invitation film to get more people to come to the event in the first place.
Why is this so important? Because the number of families that attend your Open House is indicative of how big your overall applicant pool is. This is your chance to grab people while they're in the decision-making process, not of which school to go to, but which Open Houses to go to.
We've had quite a few cases where private high schools drew kids and parents to attend the OH with one of our films - families who otherwise wouldn't have gone to that Open House, but because of the film decided it looked like a place they'd want to check out - and those prospectives ended up applying to the school and enrolling.
Who is out there that you're not reaching yet? Create a big buzz online BEFORE your open house; it leads to more applicants down the line.
