We have been working with the Special Children's Center in Lakewood for years and they have amazing fundraisers every year - big musical events that draw huge crowds. They really go big because currently over 1,000 (thousand) families with special needs children rely on the Special Children's Center's services.
One of their biggest fundraisers in particular is their Live Concert that usually takes place in Deal, NJ. Yaakov Superstar Shwekey is most often the artist performing at that very concert. And so will he this year again.
Yaakov and I have been talking for a while about making a music video together for a song of his that I really love, "United We Stand."
I was filming a day of footage for the Special Children's Center, and Shwekey performed that very song live for a mock wedding that the counselors were making for the special children. Yaakov was singing the song, the crowd went wild and it was such intimate and heart warming footage.
So while we've filmed and are currently editing a film about the Special Center that will premier at the Shwekey concert this week on August 27th, our team cut together this invitation film to invite you to the event itself.
